Learn To Paint Like The Impressionists In Cornwall
Suitable for those with some painting experience this is an opportunity to learn from one of the worlds most acclaimed copyists, Susie Ray. Develop your oil painting skills over five days where Susie will take you step by step through creating an Impressionist Masterpiece. From stretching and preparing your own canvas to creating the distinctive brush stokes. Elevate your own work with newly acquired techniques and take home your very own masterpiece.
Workshop Structure:
An Impressionist Painting Class includes:
Welcome and workshop introduction
Introduction to technique followed by a demonstrations from Susie
Hand made Belgian linen canvas
Oil paints, brushes and mediums
Easels, aprons and a relaxed warm environment
Prints of your masterpiece colour corrected ready for you to copy.
One to one support with technique throughout the course from Susie Ray
Only 4 students per class to ensure that Susie is able to work with each artist individually throughout the two days
Tea, coffee and cakes supplied throughout so you can immerse yourself fully in the creative process and really enjoy your time in the studio.
Refreshments are provided but please being lunch, we can organise a pasty for you if prearranged!
Please wear clothes that are comfortable and you aren’t worried about, just in case!
